In Health Policy and Promotion, our goal is to empower our counties/communities (all ages) to make healthy lifestyle choices.

We provide comprehensive health education programs utilizing the Best Practice guidelines. The programs consist of planned learning experiences that will assist one to achieve desirable understanding, attitudes, and practices related to critical health issues.

Health Educators are strategically housed in each local health department to mobilize communities toward healthier choices.
