We’re planning a health and recreation promotion for this summer for Wayne County (see the Promotion Page). The goal of this promotion is to familiarize the citizens of Wayne County with health and recreational opportunities in our area. This includes businesses that promote health and recreation as well as areas located around the county like picnic areas, walking trails, boating ramps, beaches, and swinging bridges. We hope to inspire people to better their overall mental and physical health by becoming aware of and utilizing our county’s health and recreation opportunities; or, at least, to get them out and involved in their community.
During this promotion, citizens will be asked to visit health and recreation locations and to take and upload a selfie to Facebook. We plan to award various prizes to encourage participation.

- Bronze Sponsorship ($1.00 – $50.00): Your business name will be included on all promotional materials.
- Silver Sponsorship ($51.00 – $100.00): Your business name and logo will be included on all promotional materials.
- Gold Sponsorship ($100 and above): Your business name and logo will be included on all promotional materials and a representative from your organization will be invited to be in the pictures awarding the prizes for publication in the local newspaper and on social media.
