Rural Health Opioid Program (RHOP) Showing Promising Results
Utilizing funds received from a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant for their 10-county service area, the Lake Cumberland District Health Department is partnering with a consortium of area doctors, mental health facilities, and detention centers to reduce morbidity and mortality related to Opioid-Use Disorder (OUD). At the mid-way point of the 3 year grant, the Rural Health Opioid Program (RHOP) is showing promising results.
