Health Departments in Adair, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Russell, Taylor and Wayne Counties are participating in the WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. The WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program provides fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruits and vegetables to qualified WIC participants. Qualified WIC participants will be given $20.00 of vouchers to spend at authorized Farmers’ Markets in their county. Each health department has a limited number of vouchers to give out on a first come first service basis. Below is a listing of authorized Farmers’ Markets in your area.
