Lake Cumberland District Health Department - Services | Disaster Preparedness | Our Staff

The Lake Cumberland District Health Department receives funding from a CDC Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grant to employ 1 Epidemiologist, 1 Preparedness Training Coordinator, and 2 Public Health Preparedness Planning Coordinators for the 10-county District.  Each has a responsibility for a particular function in the preparedness efforts for the LCDHD.  The staff are listed below, along with their contact information and Bio.

Jasie Logsdon is the Senior Epidemiologist for the Lake Cumberland District Health Department.  She provides leadership and administration of the Lake Cumberland District Health Department Epidemiology and Preparedness Program.  She is primarily responsible for building epidemiological capacity through disease surveillance, investigation, and outreach activities for the 10-county region, as well as the coordination and direction of the Preparedness Program for the agency.  Click here to read full bio.

Jane Jones is a Public Health Program Coordinator for the Lake Cumberland District Health Department. As a Public Health Program Coordinator she is responsible for writing and updating Preparedness response plans as well as assisting in the design of preparedness, bioterrorism, and other public health emergency exercises to test and integrate plans with other emergency and disaster response agencies in our area and throughout the state.  Click here to read full bio.
