Jamie Lee is an Registered Nurse has been a Diabetes Educator with the Lake Cumberland District Health Department since February 2007 and Program Manager for the Diabetes Program since 2008. She became a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) in December 2011. She is a member of the Kentucky Diabetes Network, and is a member of the Kentucky Diabetes Prevention and Control Program.


Jamie received her associate degree in nursing from Western Kentucky University in 1983. Her work experience includes two years of hospital med/surg. nursing, 4 years as a school nurse, one year in adult day health care, and 15 years in home health care. During Jamie’s tenure in home health care she held positions as Case Manager, Quality Assurance Nurse, Personal Care Supervisor, Patient Care Supervisor, and Staff Development Educator. Jamie’s office is located at the Lake Cumberland District Office in Somerset.

Vicky is a Registered Nurse and has been in the Diabetes Education Program since June 2014. She is currently teaching Diabetes Self Management Education classes and provides the Humana Vitality Screenings in Clinton, Cumberland, and Wayne Counties. She is a member of Kentucky Diabetes Network and the Kentucky Diabetes Prevention and Control Program. Vicky was a Licensed Practical Nurse from 1987 until she received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Somerset Community College in 2010.  Vicky worked in home health for 9 years before she came to LCDHD in 2002 – working in the Clinic as well as the School Nurse program before transferring to the Diabetes Program.  Vicky’s office is located at the Clinton County Health Department in Albany.

Rebecca Baker is a registered nurse and has been in the Diabetes Education Program since July 2014. She is currently teaching Diabetes Self Management Education classes and provides the Humana Vitality Screenings in McCreary and Pulaski Counties. She is a member of the Kentucky Diabetes Network, and the Kentucky Diabetes Prevention and Control Program. She received her associate degree in nursing from Somerset Community College in May, 2012. Her work experience includes telemetry care nursing and LCDHD School Nurse Program prior to coming to the Diabetes Program. Rebecca’s office is located at the Pulaski County Health Department in Somerset.

Janet is a registered nurse and has been with the Diabetes Education Program since September 2014.  She teaches Diabetes Education in Green and Taylor County.  She also provides the Humana Vitality Screening in Casey, Green, and Taylor Counties.  Janet received her BSN from UK College of Nursing in 1992.  Janet worked as a critical care nurse 5 years prior to her employment with LCDHD.  While at LCDHD she worked as a clinic nurse for 8 years and as a school nurse for 9 years before transferring to the diabetes program.  Her office is located at Taylor County Health Department.

Lori Davis a registered nurse with Lake Cumberland District Health Department for the last 14 years. She has worked as a clinic nurse as well as a school nurse.  Lori transferred to the Wellness Outreach and Education Department in the summer of 2015.  Lori graduated from Green County High School in 1988 and went on to obtain her LPN degree from Bowling Green Technical College. She later finished her RN degree at Western Kentucky University.  Lori assists with Worksite Wellness activities in the western counties of the district as well as scheduling and providing Humana Vitality screenings.  She pursues her passion for school health by evaluating school health quality measures each month.  Her office is located at the Green County Health Department.

Destiny is a Registered Nurse and has worked as a Diabetes Educator with LCDHD since 2006. She is currently the Diabetes Educator for Adair, Casey, Green, Russell and Taylor Counties.
